I graduated from FIDM with a degree in Fashion Design in 2004 and have been working in the apparel industry ever since. I have worked for very small companies as well as large corporations; wearing many hats along the way. I have a passion for the entire development process from initial concept to final production ready garment. Throughout my career I have made it a point to expose myself to as many aspects of the business as possible. I strongly believe that you cannot design the best product without understanding the multiple facets of the apparel business and most important: manufacturing. Aside from designing, I have played roles in domestic production; working one on one with local vendors and contractors. This has been the most invaluable experience to me thus far. I love working in Illustrator and hand sketching, but I also love fit comments and am a tech pack geek!
Outside of my career I spend most of my time with my husband, daughter and our two dogs. I love being outdoors, camping and exploring new places . I am inspired by the coast, my family, dance, and the California lifestyle.
